What will it cost?

The cost will normally be significantly less than the cost of a “General Aviation” licence.

For a basic Certificate which allows you to fly within a 25 mile radius of Ballarat the minimum cost, based on 15 hours dual and 5 hours solo, would be a little over $4000, including fees and theory books.

We stress that this is a minimum cost and that a typical cost for an average students may be, say, 30 hours.

For long distance flying the navigation course would be about $3,000. However, these costs depend on your ability and rate of progress.

You will pay for each lesson as you go. It is suggested that you do one lesson per week minimum to maintain continuity.
